Program Description

Electrocardiograph (ECG or EKG) technicians will learn to operate electrocardiogram equipment to monitor the patient’s heart rhythm. The students will set up and operate an electrocardiogram machine. The student learns to interpret and evaluate electrocardiogram tracings. Students will participate in practicum experience for an EKG technician in laboratory and clinical settings that utilize EKG monitors. |
