about
The certified nursing assistant (CNA) class equips individuals with the necessary skills and knowledge to provide direct patient care in healthcare settings. The program covers essential topics such as basic nursing skills, infection control, vital sign measurement, patient hygiene, and communication techniques. Students learn how to assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility. Through both classroom instruction and hands-on clinical experience, CNAs-in-training develops the competence and compassion needed to support patients and work effectively as part of a healthcare team.
The practical training prepares students for the demands of the healthcare profession. CNAs gain hands-on experience in assisting patients with various medical conditions, including individuals in long-term care facilities, hospitals, or home care settings. They learn how to handle emergency situations, properly use medical equipment, and maintain patient safety. Upon completion of the program and successful certification, graduates are well-prepared to pursue rewarding careers in healthcare, providing crucial support and care to patients in need.
