Program Description

This career major is designed as a one-year program for high school seniors only. Students will be introduced to general knowledge required by NFPA preparing them for industry certifications from IFSAC (International Fire Service Accreditation Congress)/Pro Board (National Board On Fire Service Professional Qualifications). Students will learn to apply hands-on skills for structural fires, as well as participate in live fire burns. Embedded within this course is Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider CPR training and credentialing. All students will complete CPR training.
