Program Description

Help bring your clients’ design ideas to life as a modeling and design technician. This program will teach you the essential elements of computer aided drafting and design using the same computer software as design and engineering professionals. You’ll learn how to create 2D drawings and blueprints for part/assemblies/building and how to successfully present your design to clients using custom animation and 3D virtual walk-through models. The possibilities in 3D Modeling and Design are as endless as your creativity! In this career, one day you might work with clients to design a detailed building and the next day you could find yourself helping a business owner maximize the space the yhave for equipment in a commercial building.
